About Us

Scott

Scott started Dawson Media Design in 2006, and focuses on the design and implementation of quality, usable web sites. Scott is a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), bringing additional usability insight and expertise to projects. He has Computer Science degrees from SUNY Geneseo (BA) and Cornell University (Masters).

When he's not in front of a computer, Scott enjoys getting outdoors and skiing, hiking, running or biking. He enjoys a good game of racquetball when he can get to a court, and enjoys traveling to new places.

Amy

Amy is new to Dawson Media Design, focusing on print publications and blog-based web sites for non-profits. She is also the owner of Emoticakes. Amy has an undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo and a Masters degree from UMASS Amherst. She taught math at the middle- and high-school levels in Framingham, MA and Pittsford, NY.

When she's not busy with Blogger, Wordpress or baking fabulous cakes, Amy enjoys an active life, including skiing, hiking, running and biking. She's also happy to curl up with an excellent book and cup of iced coffee, too!
